Always Sunny creator Rob McElhenney launches new entertainment-tech company

Rob McElhenney, creator and star of hit comedy series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Mythic Quest, has launched a new entertainment-tech company.

Adim promises to empower creators and fans to develop and own “a new generation of content”. It combines traditional creative development with tech to reward creators.

Creators can apply for membership, and when accepted will have the opportunity to write and produce under the mentorship of established industry figures.

The company is co-founded by Rob McElhenney, CEO Chase Rosenblatt, COO and president Melissa Kaspers, Spencer Marell, and co-chairperson Richard Rosenblatt.

Adim has raised a US$5 million seed round, and is also partnering with Aerial to offset energy consumption from NFT mints.

McElhenney, who will serve as co-chairman, said: “Every beloved character throughout TV, movie and gaming history has been imagined and brought to life through collaboration. Adim is building for the next evolution of these groups – communities of creators, writers, artists, designers, developers, fans and friends working together to create and own a new generation of content.”

Rosenblatt said: “By combining traditional creative development practices with web3 technology, we are building a new model and value network for creators and collaborators, giving people ownership of the characters and content they create.”
