Amagi names new marketing chief

Broadcast and connected TV software-as-a-service specialist Amagi has named Marco Di Giacomo as its chief marketing officer.

Di Giacomo has more than 25 years of experience across the technology industry, having held executive roles in engineering, marketing, product, and P&L roles in organizations such as IBM, Bain, McKinsey, Microsoft, Cisco, Atlassian, Evernote and Verizon, where he most recently served as corporate VP of consumer products, AI/ML platforms and growth.

Amagi said that he could contribute a deep technical background in AI/ML, ad-tech, and cloud technology.

We are looking to further accelerate our growth, expand to new geographies while expanding our portfolio of innovative products. Marco has a proven track record of scaling marketing for global technology brands. His deep understanding of SaaS and advertising business will help us improve our product value and strengthen Amagi’s brand as the leader in the space.
