Digital TV Europe has secured three additional leading experts from leading industry players for today’s (May 4 at 15:00 BST) free-to-view Symposium series webinar on addressable advertising .

DTVE editorial director Stuart Thomson, moderating the session, will be joined by Adrian Stroud, senior director of advanced advertising at Liberty Global, Olivia Abraham, customer success controller for advanced advertising at UK commercial broadcaster ITV, and Thibaud Chevalier, head of digital sales at M6 Publicité, the advertising arm of French commercial broadcaster M6.

All three companies have been at the leading edge of developing addressable advertising in Europe.

The trio will join existing panellists Matthew Bailey, principal analyst, media and entertainment at research powerhouse Omdia and Rob Gambino, head of channel origination and delivery at ad technology enabler Harmonic to discuss the latest developments and prospects in this fast-growing area.

The phenomenal growth of free advertising-supported streaming television (FAST) and growing interest from traditional broadcasters pay TV service providers and vMPVDs in diversifying their revenues means that addressable advertising is now one of the hottest topics in video.

This Symposium session will look at the opportunities and challenges associated with addressable advertising, as well as the innovations that are making it possible to monetise advertising inventory in ways that have not been possible until now.

Advanced Advertisng – Strategies for Success will be streamed live at 15:00 BST today.
