Hisense picks NetRange for smart TV content

TV maker Hisense has announced a partnership with white-labelled Smart TV and OTT ecosystem provider NetRange.

The deal will see NetRange provide content for the new range of Hisense TVs powered by VIDAA OS. NetRange will provide a wide variety of apps via its Smart TV portal, including 

local language content for Europe, LATAM, South East Asia and the CIS markets.

This relationship will complement the direct relationships that Hisense has with Tier 1 app providers, the company said.

We have relationships with Tier-1 app providers, but alone these apps aren’t enough to satisfy all consumers all of the time. NetRange is a one-stop-content-shop that ensures we can satisfy consumers in all our key markets and provides a quick and professional integration process which enables us to lower our software investment.”
