Media Group Ukraine kicks off 2022 with NBCU deal

Media Group Ukraine has announced a multi-year distribution deal with NBCUniversal to boost its content portfolio in the country.

The company’s Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Ukraine business has penned a three-year deal with NBCUniversal Global Distribution, which will give it exclusive rights to major movies and series on its channels Ukraine, NLO TV and Indigo TV.

Titles highlighted by the broadcaster include Shrek, Jurassic World and Pacific Rim.

Iryna Chernyak, director of acquisitions of TRBC Urkaine, said: “This agreement between NBCUniversal and our media holding symbolically ushers in 2022. This is a part of MGU’s consistent strategy on strengthening Ukraine, NLO and Indigo’s product range with the highest-rated films and TV series that are loved by millions.”
