White label OTT service OTTera has hired Adriana Frias as its Director of Business Development and Ad Sales for Mexico to support continuing expansion efforts in the LATAM region.
The Mexico City-based Frias will give the company a foothold in the region and follows earlier expansions into Brazil. The exec has worked across marketing and public relations for television, print and digital media for more than 10 years at companies including Castalia Communications, Mexicanal Producciones and Zee Mundo
Stephen L. Hodge, Chairman and co-CEO of OTTera Inc, said: “Adriana is a proven and respected leader in the channel and advertising space. Her experience and vast relationships with agencies and media publishers will allow OTTera to continue to bring value to the region.
“As more and more viewers catch on to the growing trend of OTT and FAST Channel content consumption worldwide, it has become increasingly important for OTTera to ensure we have teams on the ground with an understanding of the space to help evangelize the market. This has already been helpful to us in markets like Brazil, EU, MENA, CIS and China.”
Frias added: “I am very proud of being part of OTTera in this very precise moment where changes are now happening in the digital sector. The way we receive information from the world and the communication through different types of devices has become more transcendental. OTTera is contributing to this great change worldwide in a simple and exponential way with great alliances and surrounding ourselves with lifelong relationships that we can count on to continue growing and innovating new ideas for the future of OTT.”
