Vodafone España has announced a partnership with video distribution software solutions provider Alpha Networks and MediaData TV to improve its start-over and catch-up experience.
Vodafone has implemented the pair’s Real-time Accurate EPG solution. The solution is an AI-powered product which seeks to solve the issues of EPG inaccuracy. It promises to offer a smarter programme guide that guarantees sharp start over for TV channels, as well as the removal of unplayed, padding programming and the introduction of initially unscheduled information broadcasted by the channel.
