Saran extends Premier League rights deal in CIS countries

The Saran Media Group has renewed its English Premier League rights deal across 11 Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries.

The deal, an extension of the one agreed for the 2019-22 rights cycle, will run for three seasons from 2022-25 and will see Saran hold the exclusive live rights in countries including: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

In addition, Saran will hold the exclusive rights to delayed broadcast, highlights and clips across all platforms including TV and digital.

Selim Usta, head of sports at Saran Media, said: “We are proud of our broadcast partnership with the Premier League and excited to have extended the rights for another three years. Through the distribution of the Premier League broadcast across all of the 11 territories above, football fans will have the best possible viewing experience.”
