NENT Group secures int’l Premier League rights in six-year deal

Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group) has secured the exclusive rights to show English Premier League football on the Viaplay streaming service in the Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland, where the streaming service will launch soon, from 2022 to 2028.

The six-season deal expands NENT Group’s long-term partnership with the Premier League to nine European countries, and strengthens Viaplay’s position in premium streamed sports in NENT Group’s new markets.

Every season, Viaplay will show 380 live Premier League matches in the Netherlands, Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

NENT Group already holds the exclusive Premier League rights in Sweden, Denmark and Finland to 2028, and from 2022 to 2028 in Norway.
