DAZN turns to Mediaset for advertising sales in Italy

Streaming service DAZN has struck a deal with Mediaset’s advertising arm, Digitalia’08 for the latter to represent it for the next three years.

DAZN holds the rights to Serie A football, which will be streamed via Telecom Italia’s network, with 380 matches a season to be offered to subscribers, including seven matches a day to be streamed exclusively.

Digitalia’08 sold advertising around Serie A matches from 2008-18, as well as selling advertising around the Champions League from 2008-18 and the Europa League from 2009-15.

The company will have an exclusive contract to sell advertising for Serie A TIM, working closes with DAZN Media.
