RMC Sport to launch on PS5

Altice Media’s RMC Sport service has launched on the PlayStation 5 game console.

The move, coinciding with the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League football tournament this week, to which the channel holds the rights, will see PS5 users able to watch all RMC Sport channels live on their devices, along with match replays and other reports and content.

The RMC Sport app can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store. Altice Media said that the launch completes the service’s multiscreen offering. RMC Sport is already available on Samsung, LG and Hisense smart TVs, Android TV, Apple TV, computers, mobiles and tablets.

New users are also able to subscribe direct to the service via the app on the PS5.

RMC Sports channels are available from €9 a month for those who are already customers of Altice’s French service provider SFR, and for €19 a month for non-subscribers. Subscribers can sign up without making a long-term commitment.

In addition to Champions League football, RMC Sport offers Europa League, English Premier League and Portuguese league football as well as EuroLeague and EuroCup basketball, UFC mixed martial arts and English Premiership rugby.
