The International Judo Federation (IJF) has signed a deal with ODMedia Group for management of its YouTube channel.
ODMedia said that user-generated content and monetisation strategies would be applied to ensure new content and the vast archive of IJF are protected and revenues are correctly applied to IJF.
The IJF provides the official media portal for judo. Since 2009, it has established a full competition calendar which includes 18 events per year including the World Championships and the World Judo Tour.
Audiences worldwide will be able to watch all IJF World Judo Tour events live on the IJF’s Official YouTube channel along with highlight shows.
“We are excited to add IJF to our rapidly expanding sports client roster. With our experience and unique expertise, we are confident that we can achieve all of our goals for the growth and management of their YouTube channel,” said Sjef Pijnenburg, CEO of ODMedia Group.
“We have been working tirelessly on developing our online presence and are thrilled to partner with ODMedia to further develop our YouTube channel,” said Vlad Marinescu, chief media and marketing Officer at the IJF.
