Langagne will oversee sales activities for the news brand in France, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal and Switzerland.
He joins from BBC Worldwide, where he served as an account director for BBC Advertising. Langagne has over 12 years of experience in international sales across television, digital, radio, branded content and programmatic.
The appointment comes as Euronews continues its revenue growth, following a 30% year on year increase in 2018.
Euronews has undergone a series of major product enhancements across its television and digital portfolio across the last two years. It claims to be “the most trusted” news source in the continent, with Ipsos referring to it as Europe’s “most relevant” news brand by upscale consumers.
Its commercial team offers content marketing and advertising solutions across all its 12 dedicated language services and platforms (both linear and non-linear), with unique targeting and language capabilities.
