Kividoo is Super RTL’s SVOD service aimed at children aged 2-13 years and has approximately 30,000 subscribers.
3SS will design and deploy apps with customized UIs for viewing on Android mobiles and tablets, iPhone and iPad, Amazon Fire TV, Amazon Fire tablets, Apple TV, smart TVs and web.
The relaunched Kividoo apps are powered by 3READY Kids, 3SS’ targeted front end and UI based on 3READY Multiscreen which adds extra kid-centric features and options for enhanced parental control. By choosing to deploy 3READY Control Center, Super RTL is equipped with a customer experience management tool that provides real-time control over presentation of content, features and branding of all apps all from one location. This allows Super RTL to easily A/B test, adapt and improve their product based on subscriber feedback.
The apps also feature a ‘Download 2 Go’ mode for offline viewing and listening.
The new Kividoo debuts in May 2019 with a staged rollout, progressively introducing new features for the service’s audiences in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
RTL Group and The Walt Disney Company each own 50% of Super RTL.
