UK satellite free-to-view platform Freesat has added Paramount Network to its line-up of entertainment channels.
The addition will give Freesat users access to US dramas such as political thriller, Designated Survivor, starring Kiefer Sutherland, legal drama Suits. Marvel Agent Carter and DC’s Arrow.
Other content includes US hidden camera show Impractical Jokers and comedy show The Office.
The channel also offers movie-themed weekends, featuring particular genres or directors, such as a High School Movies Weekend (Easy A, Mean Girls, The Breakfast Club), a Musicals Weekend, (Les Miserables, Burlesque, The King & I) and a Baz Luhrmann Weekend, (Strictly Ballroom, Moulin Rouge, Australia).
Angie Mee, head of content partnerships, Freesat, said, “Our viewers have already had a taste of Paramount Network via My5 on Freesat, so we’re delighted to give them the chance now to experience the full range of exciting and varied programming available and to expand our portfolio of entertainment channels even further.”
