MX1 and Minerva join forces on turnkey OTT solution

Media services solution provider MX1 has unveiled a partnership with online video platform Minerva Networks to offer turnkey, subscription-based and ad-funded OTT video services.

According to the partners, the integration of Minerva’s platform with MX1’s content management services and global delivery infrastructure will enable media companies, broadcasters, mobile service providers, ISPs, and PayTV operators to launch robust, flexible, and scalable OTT services quickly and cheaply.

Minerva supports a broad set of video services including live TV, VOD, PVR, catch-up TV, pause of live TV, and restart TV. It also provides analytics that enable operators to optimise services to increase user engagement and retention. MX1 will manage all aspects of the OTT content workflow and service delivery.
