Divan.TV will carry Sony Sci-Fi, Sony Channel and Sony Turbo, offering content covering science fiction, comedy and drama, and a mix of series and movies respectively.
The Ukraine-based international OTT service will add Sony’s offering to its existing line-up of 200 TV channels and an on-demand catalogue of around 50,000 movies.
“Sony Pictures Television is one of the most recognisable rights holders in the world of global television, and Divan.tv is one of the leaders among global OTT services. This new partnership will widen our capabilities and will be beneficial for our audience.,” said Andrew Kolodyuk, founder of DivanTV.
Divan.TV recently signed a deal to re-broadcast the first season of Coincast TV, described by the operator as the first show to cover blockchain and the cryptocurrency market, through a new blockchain-based streaming platform.
