Eutelsat secures first deal for Cirrus

Satellite operator Eutelsat has secured its first customer for the recently launched Eutelsat Cirrus delivery solution, in the shape of video distributor Mondo Globo/MCNC. 

Telearabial Pro, Mondo Globo’s new TV platform of Arabic-language SD channels, is targeted at the European hospitality sector and comprises six premium Arabic lifestyle and entertainment channels, including three MBC Group channels.

Mondo Globo’s  has tapped Eutelsat Cirrus to deliver its platform on Eutelsat’s Hotbird satellite position at 13° East, including the provision of llive channel broadcasting, channel numbering, programme information and content security.

Edwardian Hotels London will make the Mondo Globo offering available to guests who want to enjoy MENA channels while staying in the UK.
