Russian service provider Akado has added kids channel CTC Kids to its programming line-up.
Akado will include the channel in its TV Stars package. Overall, Akado offers over 200 channels arranged in five basic and 14 premium packages.
Akado’s addition of CTC Kids follows the launch of the channel six months ago. CTC Kids is currently available in Russia via four major operators.
Akado content director Pavel Karakhtintsev said that kids channels were among the most popular on the platform and that CTC Kids’ content line-up of cartoons, educational and entertainment programmes would “delight young Akado viewers and their parents”.
Akado also recently added new Russian fantasy channel Fan TV as part of its TV Stars TV Stars Mini, Mix and Mix Light packages.
The channel airs a mix of fantasy content from around the world, including from a number of Japanese studios and Hollywood studios Disney’s Marvel, Sony Pictures and Warner Bros.
