Tele2 promotes Hagberg to head up Com Hem integration

Tele2 , the new owner of Swedish cable operator Com Hem, has named Kim Hagberg as EVP and chief of operations.

Hagberg, who has played a key role in planning and managing the integration of Tele2 and Com Hem’s businesses, was previously director of product management at Tele2. In her new role she will report to president and CEO Anders Nilsson.

“I am very excited to welcome Kim to our team. Her ability to enhance and secure seamless processes where needed, between both units and countries, will be key in Tele2’s continued development, including the realisation of post-merger synergies”, said Nilsson.

Tele2 completed the acquisition of Com Hem earlier this month, with former Com Hem CEO Nilsson taking the role of president and CEO of the combined group, replacing Alison Kirkby, who stepped down.
