Akado adds channels to analogue tier in south-eastern Moscow

Russian pay TV service provider Akado has added a raft of new channels to the line-up of its analogue TV service, Antenna Akado, in the south-eastern part of Moscow.

Lyubov Klyonova, director of sales, said that it was important to broaden the offering of analogue TV, which remains the main source of information for some categories of citizens. She said that the Antenna service was used by the majority of residents in the south-eastern district.

The new channels on the analogue tier include Discovery Channel, Dom Kino, Russkiy Roman, Trick, TNT-4, TNT-Music, Mul’t, O!, Doktor, Sony Turbo and Sony Channel.

Klyonova said that the new additions included a mix of popular movie, factual, music and kids channels, based on an analysis of the most-watched channels on the service.

The south-eastern administrative district, one of 12 administrative districts or Okrugs in the Moscow region, has a population of about 1.3 million.
