Discovery’s Quest launches on Freeview in HD

Discovery-owned factual channel Quest has launched in high definition on the UK’s Freeview free-to-view platform, featuring a range of shows and sports events. Quest will continue to be available in standard definition on the platform.

Quest’s programming line-up includes English Football League (EFL) highlights on Saturday evenings from 21:00 along with a midweek show. EFL fans can also watch highlights from every round of the Carabao Cup as well as the Checkatrade Trophy in HD.

Also joining Quest’s sporting line-up will be the Bennetts British Superbike Championship and Home Nations Snooker Series.

Non-sports shows on the channel include Salvage Hunters, Combat Dealers, Aussie Gold Hunters and Fifth Gear, along with documentary programmes including Wings of War, Nasa’s Unexplained Files and How Trains Changed The World.
