For the premiere, Hulu curated some of Jeopardy’s flagship special events, which featured some of the show’s fan-favourite contestants from its 35-year history.
The game show holds the Guinness World Records title for the most Emmy Awards won by a TV game show. At current time, the title has gained 34 Emmy Awards.
Jeopardy! is produced by Sony Pictures Television and is distributed domestically by CBS Television Distribution and internationally by CBS Television International.
The deal looks to reinforce Hulu’s efforts to grow its library with premium programming from across all genres.
“The series is among the top five broadcast programs on Hulu’s TV service (non-news, non-sports) and joins thousands of episodes of popular competition and unscripted programming currently available,” said Hulu in a statement.
