Telecom Italia strikes deal with Warner Bros for kids content

Telecom Italia (TIM) has struck an agreement with Warner Bros Entertainment Italia to include animated kids content on its TIMVision video offering.

The deal means that a range of iconic Warner Bros cartoons, including Scooby Doo, Popeye and Tom & Jerry, will be offered to TIMVision subscribers.

Other shows to be made available to TIMVision customers include Superman: the Animated Series and Batman: the Brave and the Bold.

The deal with Warner Bros follows a number of other agreements between TIM and Hollywood studios, including deals with Disney, Viacom and Turner for kids content as well as agreements with Discovery’s Eurosport, Vision Distribution and Mediaset.

TIM said that the raft of new content deals were in line with its commitment to offer a catalogue that is increasingly rich and of high quality, withy exclusive premieres, TV series and movies.
