French broadcaster TF1 has announced a series of management appointments, including giving Christine Bellin, director of strategy, development and transformation, overall control of the group’s digital and innovation activities.

These encompass direct-to-consumer activities such as MyTF1, LCI.fr, TfouMax and MYTF1VOD, along with advertising technology, data and digital marketing, and innovation related to startups, and TF1’s BusinessLab unit.

According to TF1, bringing together strategy and digital teams will deliver synergies and help deliver the execution of the group’s strategy. Bellin’s teams will be charged with accelerating the development and monetisation of TF1’s digital activities.

The company is looking in particular at the development of OTT TV initiatives, headed up by Régis Ravanas, deputy managing director for advertising and diversification, who has been charged with commercialising TF1’s content in the framework of new products focused on the customer experience.

TF1 has also confirmed the appointment of Oliver Abecassis as CEO of Aufeminin Group, the female lifestyle outfit it acquired earlier this year.

Finally, the broadcaster has put Arnaud Bosom, deputy managing director for HR, in charge of the company’s broadcast and IT teams charged with helping deliver the broadcaster’s Info 2020 and PNS3 programmes.
