Bavarian fibre network operator M-net is adding 12 regional Bavarian TV channels to its TVPlus offering.
From Wednesday M-net will offer 12 Bavarian local channels in HD in Munich, Augsburg, Würzburg and Erlangen. Viewers will be able to access München.TV, A.TV, Allgäu.TV, INTV, Franken Fernsehen, Main TV, Mainfranken HD, Niederbayern HD, OTV, RFO, TVA and TV Oberfranken in HD quality.
M-net launched TV as part of its broadband service offering in 2016 with an offering of 100 channels, including 40 in HD, enabling subscribers with 50Mbps internet connections to view up to three streams simultaneously on multiple devices for €9.90 a month.
“As a regional Bavarian operator for Bavaria, it goes without saying that we will provide our cable customers and housing partners with local Bavarian content in the best available quality available,” said Wolfgang Wallauer, head of residential customers and housing at M-net. “HD television adds real value for viewers and is therefore an integral part of our fibre optic cable offering.”
