Sky’s new Roku-powered Now TV Smart Stick has gone on sale in the UK, priced at just £14.99.
The device comes with voice search, is available bundled with various Now TV content packages and also supports more than 50 apps – such as YouTube, Sky Store and Vevo.
The Now TV Smart Stick, which was first announced last month, also gives users access to UK catch-up services including BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub and All 4.
For £19.99, users can bundle the Now TV Smart Stick with a two-month Now TV Entertainment Pass or a one-month Sky Cinema Pass. For £29.99 users can get the device with a one-month Sky Sports Pass.
Sky has hailed the device “the UK’s cheapest streaming stick”. Among its rivals, Roku’s own-brand Express streaming stick retails for £29.99 in the UK, Google’s Chromecast sells for £30 and Amazon’s Fire TV stick costs £39.99.
