Amazon Prime Video to launch on Xbox One X

PrimeVideoAmazon Prime Video will be available globally on the Xbox One X console once it launches on November 7.

Microsoft said that viewers will be able to download the app globally through the Microsoft Store, with Amazon Prime Video available across Microsoft’s Xbox One family of devices.

“Prime Video has titles available in 4K UHD meaning customers can enjoy their favourite movies or series with unprecedented picture clarity – details are sharper with smoother lines so that even up-close images seem clearer and more realistic,” said Microsoft in a statement.

Amazon launched its Prime Video service globally last December, rolling it out to more than 200 countries and territories around the world.

The Xbox One X is the latest console in Microsoft’s Xbox One line. Microsoft claims the device has 40% more power than any other console and offers “immersive true 4K gaming”.
