Kolding.net, an association of six local antenna associations in the city of Kolding in southern Denmark, has signed a deal with cable operator Stofa that will see the latter upgrade their networks and provide Gigabit services to about 25,000 people.
The Kolding.net – formerly ASIK – networks will be upgraded in 2019 to provide Gigabit speeds that will enable users to stream 4K UHD movies and other services.
Kolding.net and Stofa will open a new Kolding.net-branded store in the city to serve users.
Steen Christensen, chairman of Kolding.net, said that the organisation chose to renew its 16 year-old collaboration with Stofa after considering a competitive bid. He said the new agreement would enable the organisation to provide its members with the best services at the best price over the next five years.
