FuboTV passes 100,000 subscribers

fuboTVUS sports streaming service FuboTV has passed the 100,000 subscriber mark, after adding a number of new channels to the service over the past six months.

FuboTV said it reached the milestone figure in September, having launched its new base package, Fubo Premier, in April 2017.

This includes 65-plus channels, including the new additions from partners like CBS Corporation, MSG Networks, Scripps Networks Interactive, and NFL Network.

FuboTV first launched in January 2015 as a soccer streaming service and company co-founder and CEO, David Gandler, said: “Given macro tailwinds driven by a fundamental change in consumer behaviour, we anticipate the next 100,000 subscribers to join FuboTV at an accelerating pace.”
