A+E Networks is expanding its Asian footprint with the launch of factual channel History on MobiTV.
The channel will be available via MobiTV on channel number 55 on digital terrestrial television and channel 66 through direct-to-home satellite.
History will be available fully subtitled thanks to a partnership with Vietnamese content provider, Thaole Entertainment, and will be broadcast 24-hours a day in high definition.
“We are pleased to be extending the History Asia footprint in Vietnam with a legacy of premium programming,” said Prem Kamath, deputy managing director, Asia Pacific, A+E Networks.
“With the largest pay TV subscriber base in South-East Asia at 13 million subscribers, Vietnam provides a tremendous opportunity to connect new viewers with history through our award-winning series and specials.”
