ESPNPlayer.com takes US college football to Europe

ESPN appDisney’s ESPN OTT TV service, ESPNPlayer.com, is launching live streaming of US college football across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.in addition to its ESPN College Gameday show, the OTT service will provide three 24-hour college football channels, Longhorn Network, SEC Network and ESPNU, simulcast with their US airing.

ESPNPlayer’s coverage of the NCAA College Football season kicks off tomorrow , giving viewers the ability to watch over 600 games on PCs, iPads and mobile phones.

The SEC Network is dedicated to one of college sports’ main conferences. ESPNU focuses exclusively on college sports, while the Longhorn Network is the official channel of the Texas Longhorns team.

NCAA College Football is available as part of ESPNPlayer’s NCAA College Pass, with monthly passes available for £19.99 (€21.70) in the UK, and annual subscriptions – which include access to more than 5,000 college sports events throughout the year – available for £109.99. All NCAA passes come with a seven-day free trial.
