YouTube has launched new functionality that makes it possible for mobile users to share videos without leaving the YouTube app.
The video site said it is rolling out the new sharing feature globally, with a new tab on the YouTube mobile app allowing users to share videos with each other.
“Not only can you share and receive videos in the app, you can also chat about them right on YouTube, reply with another video, invite others to the conversation, and more,” said YouTube product manager, Benoît de Boursetty.
“We think it’ll make sharing easier, faster and more fun on your phone. And if you want to continue sharing videos through other apps, you can still do that too.”
