UK-based set-top box and software provider Amino Technologies saw strong revenue and profit growth in the first half.
Amino posted revenues of £40 million (€45 million), up 21%, with underlying revenue in constant currency terms up 4%.
Adjusted profit before tax was up 64% to £6.9 million.
The company saw continued sales growth in North And Latin America, boosted by the transition of cable networks to IP. The period also saw the launch of Amino’s virtual set-top box platform, Enable, targeted at enabling operators with large legacy set-top footprints to provide advanced services. Amino recently named Chilean operator GTD as a customer for the product.
“We are delighted to deliver a strong first half performance which has been achieved by effective execution on our order book. Revenue and adjusted profit before tax are in line with our expectations and the closing cash position is ahead of expectations. Our sales pipeline is robust and we are therefore confident that we will deliver full year profits in line with market expectations,” said chairman Keith Todd.
