AMC Networks International – Central & Northern Europe has extended the reach of AMC in Croatia by striking a distribution deal with Telekom Austria-owned Vipnet.
From today, Vipnet will add the channel to its basic package.
This new launch, part of AMC’s continued expansion in the Adriatic region, follows last year’s agreements with United Group to bring AMC to new subscribers across Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Slovenia.
The extension of AMC’s reach in the region accompanies the launch of season two of MCS’s series Preacher in Croatia.
Other forthcoming highlights include world premiere episodes of Fear the Walking Dead.
SVP of AMC Networks International – Central & Northern Europe, Levente Málnay said: “We have a clear focus on the Adriatic region where Vipnet, a member of the Telekom Austria Group, is a key partner. We are delighted to bring AMC’s distinctive original programming, including the upcoming season two debut of Preacher and world premiere episodes of the new season of Fear the Walking Dead to Vipnet subscribers later this year. This new launch highlights the growing demand for AMC in the region, and we will continue our mission to bring premium original drama series to viewers at the same time or within days of the US premieres.”
