This year competition features an exciting range of new categories and an expanded panel of distinguished judges to decide which have been the most innovative, exciting and outstanding products, services and individuals of the last year.
The Content Innovation Awards, the premier event to celebrate innovation in content creation, distribution and delivery, this year features categories including: The YouTube Award, recognising innovation in content that is specifically tailored for digital platforms; the Next-Gen Advertising Award, highlighting new ways of taking brands to consumers; the UX Award, showcasing innovation in content navigation and discovery; and Standout Kids TV Service, recognising the most innovative service aimed at young digital natives, among others.
In addition to the new line-up of categories highlighting innovative services, products and individual programme titles, two new Awards – the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Distribution Executive Award – will honour the achievements of specific individuals who have made outstanding contributions in their respective fields. Nominations can be made for these two categories completely free of charge.
The Content Innovation Awards, from Digital TV Europe in partnership with Television Business International, celebrates innovation in content, distribution and delivery and the wide-ranging achievements of the companies and individuals who bring video content to the world.
The Awards this year will be presented at a spectacular Gala Dinner event with live entertainment at the Carlton Hotel’s Grand Salon in Cannes on October 15.
