Cable and telecoms group Altice has named Nicolas Petit as its new group chief marketing officer. Petit will take up his new role immediately, taking charge of business-to-consumer and business-to-business commercial and marketing activities.
Petit will manage the commercial launches of the new Altice brand, following Altice’s decision to rebadge all its operating units under the parent company’s brand.
He joins Altice from Microsoft, where he most recently served as general manager, global marketing and operations. He previously held several leadership positions with Microsoft France, notably as chief operating officer and chief marketing officer. He started his career in management consulting with Arthur D. Little, specialising in the telecom, media and internet industries.
Petit will report to Altice Group CEO Michel Combes.
