Kaltura and Akamai have agreed to extend their partnership to offer Akamai’s Predictive Content Delivery via Kaltura’s TV Platform.
The joint solution combines Akamai’s Predictive Content Delivery and CDN products along with the Kaltura TV Platform’s customer behaviour and content consumption intelligence.
This will enable on-device caching of content using resource management to download content in the background while on a strong WiFi connection, based on each user’s profile and history.
“We are pleased to extend our long-standing partnership with Kaltura, and to deliver this exciting new offering to the market,” stated John Sconyers, global senior director, cloud services partners at Akamai.
