Spain’s Adamo makes €40m fibre pledge

adamo_logoRegional Spanish broadband provider Adamo will invest €40 million to build out fibre in the Cantabria region in the north of the country.

The company said the expansion will take fibre to all parts of the region and beyond the cities of Santander and Torrelavega that already have fibre optic internet coverage.

Adamo claims that Cantabria will become the first community in Spain with 100% fibre coverage across its municipalities and said the scheme will create 300 direct and 600 indirect jobs.
