DOCSIS 3.1 on the agenda for ISBE/ANGA breakfast

The business impact of DOCSIS 3.1 and a live provisioning demo of the new specification will be on the agenda at the ISBE/ANGA International Breakfast at ANGA COM.

The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), its global arm the International Society of Broadband Experts (ISBE) and ANGA COM will co-host the breakfast on Wednesday May 31.

SCTE and ISBE president and CEO Mark Dzuban will speak about the importance of DOCSIS 3.1 cable in an increasingly competitive telecommunications landscape.

Cable Europe technology director, Paul Valente, will discuss DOCSIS 3.0 activities in Europe, while senior vice president and CTO of SCTE/ISBE, Chris Bastian, will talk about ISBE’s training activities.

Also on the agenda, three technology partners – Arris, Viavi, and Anedis – will team with SCTE/ISBE to show live provisioning between an Arris E6000 Converged Edge Router, an Arris DOCSIS 3.0 gateway and an Arris DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem.
