UPC Poland first up with TVN catch-up service

Liberty Global-owned cable operator UPC Poland is to be the first Polish service provider to make Scripps Networks Interactive-owned broadcaster TVN’s Replay TV service available to its subscribers.

TVN Replay TV will enable viewers to watch selected broadcast TV programmes for up to seven days after their linear airing.  The catch-up service will be available for channels TVN HD, TVN 7 HD, TVN 24 HD, TVN 24 BIS HD, TTV HD and other thematic networks. The cable operator is adding new HD services from TVN and Scripps to its linear offering. UPC’s service will now include lifestyle channel HGTV Home & Garden HD and TVN24 BIS HD, TVN’s 24-hour business and financial news channel.

UPC has also extended the availability of Scripps Networks Interactive’s Food Network channel, adding to the Select package as well as the more exclusive Max package that previously housed the channel.
