Condé Nast Entertainment has appointed former Upworthy Media executive Croi McNamara as senior vice president of programming for digital video.
McNamara will oversee the creative development of the company’s digital video content, reporting directly to Condé Nast Entertainment president Dawn Ostroff.
“Our digital video network finished 2016 as number one in comScore’s Lifestyle Category, and we were number one for ten of the past twelve months. Croi’s creative expertise will help us innovate our video storytelling as we take our network to the next level,” said Ostroff.
McNamara joins from viral content site Upworthy, where she has served as vice president and general manager since 2015. Prior to this she was global head of design and media for Thomson Reuters.
