Vodafone and Sky Italia have struck a deal whereby the mobile giant will integrate Sky’s over-the-top Now TV offering into the forthcoming Vodafone TV service, in a move described by Sky as “imminent”.
The deal will mean that Vodafone TV customers will have access to channels including Sky One, Fox Life and documentary channels including Nat geo Wild and History, along with Sky Sport 24, Eurosport’s two channels and a range of kids content.
Vodafone TV customers will also have access to video-on-demand and the ability to upgrade to take premium services including Sky Atlantic, box sets and movies.
