Russian fixed-line service provider MTS has launched a country-wide advertising campaign to market its satellite TV offering.
MTS’s satellite offering provides 190 channels, including 35 HD services, extending the reach of the operator beyond its fixed-line network.
The campaign includes TV ads featuring Russian actor Gosha Kutsenko alongside internet, radio and outdoor advertising.
MTS has heavily pushed its satellite offering this year, with another campaign running over the summer and offering reception equipment free of charge to differentiate it from competitors.
The operator has also expanded its channel line-up.
MTS claims to be the only Russian satellite TV operator that provdes coverage of the whole of Russia from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok from a single orbital position.
