The service includes seven-day catch-up TV both to the main TV in the living room and to mobile devices via the Horizon Go app. The latter includes access to 60 channels via Android and iOS devices.
Horizon also brings web-delivered content to Romanian TVs including Cinemagia, Euronews and Vimeo.
In addition to enabling search and navigation functions, the Romanian launch will also provide the ability to record programmes locally via an external hard drive.
UPC Romania and UPC Hungary CEO Robert Redeleanu said that Horizon was one of Liberty Global’s most important innovations and that the Romanian launch was in line with the company’s strategy of providing the best entertainment services, anywhere and at any time.
