German cable operator Tele Columbus has added new documentary channel N24 Doku to its programming line-up. The free-to-view channel, from WeltN24, will be made available across the Tele Columbus, Primacom and Pepcom networks, along with a one-hour time-shifted variant.
N24 Doku will air a mix of home-produced content along with titles from the BBC, National Geographic and Discovery Channel.
Separately, Tele Columbus has named the new line-up to the Housing Advisory Committee it set up in 2011 to deepen the relationship between the operator and the housing industry.
Lutz Freitag, formerly president of the GdW Bundesverband deutscher Wohnungs- und Immobilienunternehmen (the German Federal association of housing and real-estate companies) will preside for the next two-year term, with Frank Kirchhoff, managing director of Immobilien- und Vermögensverwaltungsges. mbH & Co. KG acting as deputy.
Uwe Bittner, managing director of Leipziger Wohnungs und Baugesellschaft mbH, Daniel Jircik, managing director of Stendaler Wohnungsbaugesellschaft mbH, Thomas Kleindienst, CEO of the WGLi Wohnungsgenossenschaft Lichtenberg eG, Ringo Lottig, CEO of the Chemnitzer Siedlungsgemeinschaft EG, and Dr Christoph Wagner, partner at law firm Morrison & Foerster LLP, will also serve on the advisory council.
