ProSiebenSat.1 expands IPTV deal with Deutsche Telekom

ProSiebenSat.1 has extended its agreement with Deutsche Telekom, securing the long-term distribution of its free and paid channels in SD and HD on Telekom’s IPTV service.

As part of the deal, Deutsche Telekom customers will also be able to access ProSiebenSat.1’s recently launched documentary channel Kabel Eins Doku in HD on IPTV, as well as via mobile.

The agreement also covers the ongoing mobile distribution of ProSieben, Sat.1, Kabel Eins, Sixx, ProSieben MAXX and SAT.1 GOLD via Telekom’s mobile TV service.

“Through agreement with Deutsche Telekom we reach 2.7 million TV households and 40 million mobile customers with our services,” said ProSiebenSat.1 CEO, Christof Wahl.
