Intigral, a provider of IP video products and billing services in the MENA region, has selected Arris to supply it with wireless HEVC set-tops in the Middle East.
Intigral has opted for the Arris VIP4302W, one of the firm’s new generation of HEVC set-tops, which will be optimised with Intigral’s UI and DRM systems to deliver a new video service to consumers.
“By using an HEVC-enabled set-top, our customers are able to offer TV services over existing networks without the need for broadband infrastructure upgrades,” said Barry Mehdizadeh, general manager, technology business and solutions for Intigral.
Steve McCaffery, managing director of international sales and business operations for Arris said: “This alliance with Intigral further extends our reach in the, where we’re helping operators meet consumer demand for personal TV experiences now and in the future.”
