Amino, is due to showcase a dual mode 4K UHD device that delivers Android TV capability alongside the company’s existing Enable software platform at IBC.
The hybrid TV and cloud solutions specialist adds the device to its Kamai range, and it has been designed to deliver next generation TV services from the cloud over IP networks to multiple devices anywhere.
The platform features integrated 4×4 802.11ac WiFi to support multiscreen content distribution around the home, plus full 4K UHD capabilities, including the latest high dynamic range (HDR) support. Voice control, federated search and popular OTT apps are also included.
“Our new Android TV dual mode device – which we believe is a world first – is created for operators who are looking for maximum flexibility and a new option to help them on their migration journey,” said Amino CEO, Donald McGarva.
Amino will exhibit at IBC on stand 14 K.20
