SFR Media, the recently created content arm of Altice-owned French service provider SFR, has named Clément Courvoisier as director of digital activity.

Courvoisier will join on September 19 and will report to Damien Bernet, deputy CEO of SFR Media. A graduate of the Ecole Centrale Paris, he worked in London for media agency OMD before joining L’Express magazine – now part of the SFR Media group – in charge of web marketing and advertising. More recently he has served as director of marketing at newspaper publisher Group Figaro and as director of digital activity at financial daily Les Echos.

This latest addition to the SFR Media team follows the organisation of the unit in July, with Alain Weill remaining as CEO and Bernet, formerly CEO at NextRadioTV, taking on the deputy CEO role.

The media group comprises three sub-divisions: SFR Radio TV, SFR Sport and SFR Presse.
